Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Review

Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is a great ending for the tale of Naruto Uzumaki. Storm 4 as you might expect plays like the previous Storm games but that's not a bad thing. Bringing the largest roster of playable characters to date. The combat consists of timing luck and skill being able to read you opponents next move is crucial. New additions to combat are few but shake things up a bit the biggest being being able to switch between characters on the fly this adds a deeper combo mechanic for veteran players to master. The story and voice acting are top notch in Storm 4 being able to play out epic fight scenes is a joy and very fun to replay letting you fight giant epic bosses that looks like its was pulled straight from the anime. Storm 4 returns with an online mode that feels for the most part improved over the previous games although not having the ability to spectate while you play with friends and lack of new modes is a bummer. My biggest complaint for the game is that it lacks anything new in terms of the storm series. The game has a lackluster adventure mode that feels like it was an after thought. I feel that they could of done something like taking the story mode and adventure mode to make some kind of free roam adventure sort of like Storm 1 but on a grander scale. It definitely feels like the developers were playing it safe and were trying to focus more on the story and that's understandable. To wrap everything up Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 is a great game. bringing in the biggest cast to date and improved online play along with an epic story. While lacking in terms of new gameplay mechanics the game delivers what most fans such as myself  wanted. My final score for Storm 4 is 8.5/10
