Firewatch review

Firewatch is a game of beauty, fear and choice. The game takes place in the foot steps of henry, Not going in to spoilers theres is a tragedy in his life that leads him to get way from it all.The games art style is what makes Firewatch standout, from glowing forest to dark caves the games attention to detail never falters. During this 4 to 5 hour quest aided by Delilah you experience the beauty of the out doors, the fear of the outdoors, trust, mystery and adventure. The game delves very deep into the two main characters past and makes them human so that the player genuinely cares about them. The game play of Firewatch is simple but that's all right you'll walk around the park and do task given to you by Delilah but the real gem is in the dialogue you chose when talking to Dalilah it goes deeper then what ill tell you because i want you to experience the adventure for your self. The story of Firewatch is fantastic the twist and turns and mystery will keep you on the edge of your seat and at times scare you. Overall Firewatch is a beautifully told story definitely worth the price although the story ends abruptly and kills the mystery to soon the cast and choices you make throughout is a blast and definitely worth more then 1 playthrough.8.8/10

  1. Great blog! I am not much of a gamer, but really enjoy the blog. I like the reviews, I would do some more editing and maybe add pictures and videos inline with the text. That might help break up the text. I think you should also say "check out my game play through here", people might not get that it is your play through and not just a random video. I also think a post about your set up and what you are playing on would be really interesting. Great start I can't wait for your future posts.

  2. I have seen many videos and reviews of this game and might have to pick it up and play it myself. I'm enjoying the variety of games I'm seeing you review and look forward to seeing what else you have in store!
